EASTBOURNE, UK, September 2nd 2015

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) has unveiled its new visual identity.

“It is a privilege for CCLI to serve over 250,000 churches, schools and other organizations in over 30 countries. For the past 27 years, we have all seen and experienced the impact of change—in technology, connectivity and communication. As CCLI continues to partner with our customers into the future, we felt it would be appropriate to refresh our visual identity, so it could better represent CCLI’s ongoing expansion of service.”
CCLI CEO/Chairman Howard Rachinski.

CCLI began in October, 1988 in Portland, Oregon, and quickly established a strong presence in churches and worship ministries throughout the world. CCLI represents the rights of over 3,000 church music publishers and song owners, and over 300,000 worship songs. The original logo (below) became an icon of trust and stability for churches and church music publishers.

The new logo  was created by OVO, a branding agency in Portland, Oregon, following an extensive analysis of CCLI’s vision and core values.

“The elements of our new logo have special meaning. First of all, the logo is a circle, representing our global service. Second, the silhouette of a music note in the center is a reminder of our heritage in song. Third, the middle symbol portrays a “c”, reflecting our core service to customers – copyright compliance. Fourth, the middle symbol also portrays two hands connecting together, representing our special relationship with our customers – where we have come from and where we are going. Fifth, the outside symbols portray sound waves, representing communication to, and with, our customers. And, finally, the logo, as a whole portrays an upward & forward progression, representing CCLI’s ongoing service into the future.”
CCLI CEO/Chairman Howard Rachinski.

At the same time, CCLI have also announced that its Global Headquarters has moved from its office in Portland, Oregon (a space it occupied since 1995) across the Columbia River to its new home in Vancouver, Washington, at 17205 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Suite 150.

CCLI’s European and South African Head Office is located at Chantry House, 22 Upperton Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex. BN21 1BF, UK.
